100th Entry
Mood: Awesome
This is, technically, my 100th entry on Diaryland! :)

Today, I babysat for Rebecca & Ben. They didn't wake up until about a hour & a half after I got there! lol Rebecca & I stayed on the net for most of the time I was there, while Ben played video games or listened to music. While Rebecca & I were on the computer [which is in their parents' room] Ben came in & started to jump on the bed. The second after I told him to stop because the bed could break...the bed broke. A support board had fallen, causing the top right side to fall! After this all happened, Rebecca called her dad & was like 'Oooh, Dad, Benjamin broke the bed!' Now, we can look back on this & laugh but then it was like 'Oh no, how am I gonna explain this to Mrs. Vicki!' lol

While all 3 of us were sitting on the floor in the living room listening to music [the Lizzie McGuire Movie soundtrack, to be exact] a song with a classical sounding beginning started to play. Then, Rebecca said 'Ben likes classical music' but that exact second, I looked at Ben & he was picking his nose! lol It was sooo funny! It turned into the daily joke! :P

Tonight, I added a 'links' page & I fixed the broken images on my 'cliques' page, then I added some new cliques! That's about it for today!

Wanted In D.C.
Mood: Ok
In the mail today, I got something really interesting! It was an invitation to the National Young Leaders Conference in Washington D.C. They want me to be there during the 6 day conference--which can be mine for the price of $1,264, not including air fare to & from! If only I had over 1 thousand dollars just sitting around, then I could get my limo driver to drop me off at the airport so that I could hop onto my first-class airline seat! lol Anyway, I guess that would be really cool to go, but how many people can just randomly spare $1,264 at any whim! heehee It's the thought that counts! :)

I went with my dad today downtown to deposit my babysitting money in my bank account & then to the library.

I got to talk to Amber tonight at 8pm but she had to leave 30 minutes later. We can talk tomorrow night though! :)

Today, we resumed out trek to catch & release all the little froggies that invade our space! lol We caught 21 of those little buggers [including the ones from yesterday]! That means that we got 9 more today & there are some more around the back of our house--tomorrow we shall conquer! lol

I added quite alot of diaryrings today, so you can check those out! That's about it for today! :)

Since I worked on Rebecca's page until 3am this morning, I didn't wake up until 12:59 this afternoon! lol

Today, I realized that I cannot stand a woman on one of my exercise tapes! Ok, she always mouths the lyrics to the songs that are played in the background & she appears to be extremely cocky & smug during the workout! lol Her expression is like 'Yeah, I can do this better than all of you!' even though, although this will sound kinda mean, she isn't that coordinated! lol But I can say that because I am the single most uncoordinated person ever! lol And you may think 'Well, Nicole, why are you janking on her if she is also uncoordinated?' & my answer is 'Well, I'm not the one on TV'! lol I already embarrass myself enough around my family & friends, but I certainly wouldn't put myself on an accessible videorecording to be laughed at by people I don't know, I'm fine with the people I do know making fun of me! lol

Anyway, tonight as I was *gasp* sitting outside with my mom [I'm a self-declared inside-person! Tis why I am always so pale lol], there was a frog sitting over our patio door. My mom is freaked out by frogs, which our patio is usually covered with in the evenings so that we can't enjoy sitting outside, so I thought up a frog relocation plan! Ok, we have a 10-gallon fish tank because we used to have a hamster [RIP Puffkin :)], so I thought that if we transport the frogs that live on our patio into the tank, then away from our house, we can live frog-free! So I grabbed our seashell net [for the beach] & our 2 mesh beach bags. I clamped the 2 bags together using a heavy-duty clip so that we could place it over the tank & secure it with more clamps so that the frogs couldn't get out. :) Anyway, after I was done catching all the frogs I saw, my mom & I released them near the entrance to our subdivision, [We took them out in 2 groups of 6] only to come back to the patio & spot 4 more! lol I plan on letting those go tomorrow night!

Tonight I watched the 1st of the 4 videos of the 8 videos in The Beatles Anthology set that I got at our library! :)

Well, I've been talking to Amber on the net for a while tonight! I helped her add a useless blob & a hit counter to her diary [ %%diary-amberger86%% ]!

New HTMLer

I babysat Rebecca & Ben today! :) This morning, when I got there, I wasn't as tired as I was last Friday! We watched Shrek this morning after I got there & Ben woke up around the half-way point of the movie! lol

After the movie was over, Rebecca just randomly asked 'Hey, Nicole, do you know how to make layouts?' Being that I had my site for about 3 years I did learn alot about HTML & I made many layouts [that have been stupidly deleted by the Expage server!]--she was really glad! :P So after that, we set out to put some HTML to work on her Neopets site. But, the site explained all the stuff I already understood, but it didn't tell you where to put the codes! I couldn't believe this!

So, we made a site for her that she could out stuff on & I agreed to make her a Tare Panda layout! :D Anyway, soon she will be emailing me 6-8 graphics that she wants on her layout so I can make it for her & we can work on it next time I babysit [this Friday]! I think I have a new HTMLer on my hands! lol

I added a title banner at the top of my diary now that has 'Nicole's Retrospects' in a groovy font against an equally groovy background! :P Well, that's all for today!

Relationship Matters

Today is %%diary-wibah%%'s 15th bday! Congrats Lizzy! :)

Not too much happened in my life today. I changed my achive system by separating entries. Go check it out! lol I added a new element to the diary extras today. If you look below, under my tag-board, you will see my new 'license' thingy! I found this site a long time ago on a whim & think they are cute! :)

Anyway, since nothing happened that would interest you, I will present a view of mine, dealing with the song of the day, My Friends Over You.

Ok, I know this is dorky, but I can't just say 'It was a boring day....blah blah blah'--I have to fill this entry with something substantial! lol Ok, the thought of keeping friends before a romantic relationship is the key element of this song. I've always thought that this is something to maintain while you are in a relationship. :) Same thing goes for not letting a guy come in between friends' relationships. This wall between friends because of a guy I have experienced. One of my old friends, well...constantly had boyfriends, practically on a one-month basis! This kinda interfered with her realationship with other people, including myself. Anyway, I will always try to never let my having a boyfriend get in the way of friends. Friends will probably always be there for you, even after the possible splitting up of you & your significant other. :D

I know I must song completely old-fashioned & silly, but yknow, I had to rattle on about something! lol Well, that's about it for today!
