My mom & I were church greeters this morning, which means that we had to leave for church 30 minutes earlier than usual! :) We got these little magnetic tags that said 'hospitality ministries'! :)

Anyway, we got the front doors & a ton of bulletins to hand out to church-goers coming in. I really was quite fun though! lol We had to stay out there in the front lobby for about 15 minutes after the service started in case of late visitors--which there were a few. :)

Mr. Jim & Mrs. Vicky [Micah's parents] are on vacation for their 20th year wedding anniversary, so one of the guitarists, Mr. Butch, did the service today! He's really cool.

After church, we came home, then a little while later we went to Wal*Mart for some groceries. Nothing too out of the ordinary!

Today, our computer keyboard had a few malfunctioning keys! The 'b', the 'n' & the space bar would just stop working all of a sudden! This occurance is because of a mishap I had back when I lived in AL [in approx. 2001]. Well, I was about 12 at the time & I had a full glass of Sunny-D [the mango kind] on the table on which we had our computer. I was typing on day & I guess my hand slid off of the keyboard, hitting the glass. Well, you know how the rest of this goes & to this day, you can still see the orangey stain on the last to rows of keys! lol Also, the right 'shift' key & the '7' key on the keypad part don't work.

Ok, back to present day! :) I had to teach my dad how to remedy the 3 non-working keys today. We have to hold down on of of the 3 keys for a little while, then press the key to the side of it! lol

I watched Hope Floats & This Time Around [the movie that ABC Family has been plugging for like a month lol]! Both were really cute. :) That's all for today!

No Procrastination! lol
Mood: Tired
Nothing really happened this morning. I purposely slept in really late so that I would have eough rest to survive [lol] my babysitting job tonight! So, I got to Mr. Randy's house at 7pm & Allie, Hannah & Lydia's cousin Brendan was there because he & his mom were visiting them. So tonight, I had one other person to look after. Not too much happened due to the fact that bedtime was 9:30pm.

So, they watched the movie Rocketman that was on the Disney channel. After that, the girls insisted on playing 'doctor'. So we did. :P After that, at 9pm-clean-up time, Allie decided to wash the dishes in the sink [subliminally hoping to run over 9:30pm so that she wouldn't have to go to bed on time. But, being the educated person I am [lol j/k] I caught onto her little scam, although I never led on that I did! Well, she finished around 9:20pm [haha! :P], it was so funny, because then she started looking around for things that she could so! lol Little procrastinator!

Anyway, everyone got to bed on time, so then I was left--with the TV, the couch, & that freaky cat! lol While I was watching TV, I heard snoring, but I thought it was Hannah because a few weeks ago, she told me that sometimes she snores. But, the snoring stopped & the cat walked out of their room! It startled me really bad though! lol When they all came back, Mr. Randy had brought home some Krispie Kreams! Rock on Mr. Randy! lol That's about it! :)

Mood: Kinda Sleepy
This morning, my mom woke me up at 6:45am because I babysat for Rebecca & Ben. Well, after my mom woke me up, I accidently went back to sleep, but I was dreaming that I was awake & getting ready! lol

Anyway, when she came in again, I hurriedly got up & started getting ready. I went to the kitchen to get some breakfast--I sat down with my bagel & all of a sudden, my dad's like 'Nicole, we have 6 minutes!' I was shocked! I was barely awake & not ready at all! So I had to rush to finish getting ready, but as I was walking down the hall to my bathroom, I kept saying outloud 'I'm gonna barf...I'm gonna barf!' because (1) I was pretty much delirious being that I had barely gotten any sleep last night & (2) I ate so fast that I had a stomach-ache! lol

Well, we got there on time & I went into their house & sat on their couch, totally wanting to sleep while the kids were doing the same. lol So, Mrs. Vicki got me a pillow in case I wanted to take a nap! :) She's so sweet! lol

Most of the day was uneventful. We watched Cartoon Network almost the entire time! lol After lunch, Ben asked me if he could sit on the porch outside. Reluctantly, I said yes, my answer because the chairs were so close to the door in case of emergency.

So, a little while later, I went to go check on him...he was gone!!! I started freaking out so bad! So many thoughts went through my head at the same time...but pretty much the 'ohmigosh ohmigosh ohmigosh' one was most prominent! lol [See I can laugh now that it's over! :)] I ran outside, bare-footed, towards the back of the house, on the squishly, rain-soaked grass--worried like you wouldn't believe. Rebecca told me that he probably was at the neighbour's house. So I went inside to get shoes, then as I walked outside to resume the search, Ben was walking towards the house. I said 'Ben, what were you doing? Why didn't you tell me that you were gonna leave? Do you know how scared I was!?!' After he got inside & told me that he was just walking down the street, I gave him a lecture on the fact that he scared the heck outta me, because I am the one in charge & all that stuff. I think he understood! lol I hope! Then I left around 4pm.

Tonight, I watched a live B. B. King concert on TV with my dad! Rock on B.B.! :)

Mood: Glad
I didn't wake up today until 12:13PM! lol My parents greeted me as I walked into the living room--still sleeping lol--with 'Good afternoon!' lol

Today we had plans of going 3 places since my dad was off today: the library, Home Depot & a Christian bookstore.

Well, we spent a while at the library. I got 5 CDs & I checked out 4 [of 8] of The Beatles Anthology tapes [circa 1996], since our library has a policy that says people under 18 can't check out videos. :)

Then we went to Home Depot. I really hate those kinda stores! Don't ask me why, I just do! lol Outside, there was a food carty-thingy that was selling ICEEs, so I got 2 for me & my dad. Anyway, as I was walking away from the stand with 2 overly-full cherry ICEEs, one starts exploding out od the top, all over the ground, my feet & hands! It was so gross! You could literally follow me by looking at the path of red drips from the door! lol Anyway, I eventually drank all of the exploding part, while being very close to a brain-freeze! :P

After we left the horrible store, we went to the Christian store. I decided yesterday to get Relient K's The Anatomy Of The Tongue In Cheek CD with my leftover money, but not open it until I felt the need for some new music. I don't wanna spoil the fact that I just got their new CD & then, when I'm broke & without new music, I can open it up & have something fresh! So I bought it--it turned out to be $11.96, so I have $1.04 left of my $13!

Well, that's all for today! I have a babysitting job tomorrow! :P
