Nothing much happened today. The Brendan Leonard Show was a rerun this morning. :P

My mom & I cleaned house today! Yay! lol

We looked at her & my old yearbooks. Since she was in high school in the mid-late 70s, there were quite alot of fros! It was so funny--some fros didn't even fit in the individual pictures! heehee Then we looked at my old yearbooks from like 1st grade. I was such a nerd! What a shocker! lol Don't believe me? heehee Yep, the pre-contacts Nicole appears in many pictures, I was even rockin the side-ponytail in my 4th grade pic! Go me! lol

I went through my closet boxes today [which are *gasp* still not unpacked from the last time I moved!] looking for my game of Clue so my mom & I could play. Yeah, I found it & I realized a few minutes ago that we didn't play! lol Well, that's all for today!

Cat Poop
Mood: Happy
This morning I had to wake up way early so my dad could drop me off so I could babysit Rebecca & Ben. I got there around 7:30am, right before Mrs. Vicki left.

We played Crash Bandicoot & mainly, Hide 'n' Go Seek!

This afternoon, we were resting from a Hide 'n' Go Seek session & I heard something go 'splat' in the kitchen. I thought 1 of their 3 cats had spilled water from their bowl or something. Rebecca went into the kitchen to get a drink & said 'EWWW! There's cat diarrhea on the kitchen rug!' So she & I took the rug & flung the...uh...poo on the ground outside, then put the rug to where the rain could wash it off! lol Anyway, I left around 3:30pm.

Tonight, Amber, April & I were supposed to have our weekly Friday-at-8 chat, but April didn't log on. :( So it was just us 2 tonight! :D That's all for today!

Board-Smacked
Mood: Beachy
Today we went to the beach around 2pm! We had a few beachy mishaps though! As you can tell by the title of this entry, yes, I got board-smacked. The thing is, I was boogie-boarding with my dad & I was going to jump a wave. The problem was, at the last second, the wave swelled up above my head, smashing into my board that smacked me in the forehead, nose & chin. I was actually wearing a snorkeling mask since I wear contacts & want to see--this truth either saved me from having a broken nose, or just made it worse. After I was hit, of course, my mask went flying off into the Gulf & I, while freaking out, checked my nose & mouth to make sure that I hadn't broken my nose or was bleeding in my mouth. Luckily, all was pretty much fine, except for a scrape on my right knee & a reddish-blood-clotty-scar-thing on my cheek that will eventually fade.

Before my boogie-boarding accident [lol], my dad got attacked by some killer waves too. First, a wave picked him up & threw his hip on the sand below. Then when he got up, he got knocked down twice. He's ok although he was a little stunned at the time!

Anyway, we left some time after all this, all of us slightly burnt in places. Overall, it was a pretty good kickoff summer beach outing!

No Dilemma
Mood: Glad
I awoke at a stunning 11am today since I had a loooong night last night [lol] & since I didn't get to sleep until 2am this morning! :)

My grandma called this morning so I got to talk to her a pretty long time!

Not too much went on today. I took 2 of my mom's albums & 19 of my dad's in hopes that they would allow me to keep them, frame them, & hang them on my wall in my room. My mom had no problem, but it was my dad I wasn't so sure about. But, after a while of convincing him, he let me have them! I'm so glad! See, I got 19 of my dad's albums that would look cool in my room & albums that are by a group or singer I like. Soon, I will try to find 21 frames that I could fit them in! :)

After I'm done on the net, I'm gonna watch the U2 concert 'Rattle and Hum' that I got from the library last week!

Sitter Of Three
Mood: Exhausted [lol]
I got my last report card today, Biology, World History, English & Spanish I were all A's, Bible & Geometry were B's! Not too shabby!

Nothing really happened during the day today, but Mr. Randy needed me to babysit his 3 girls, Allie, Hannah & Lydia, from 6pm-11pm, while he & his wife went to a concert tonight. So my mom dropped me off at he & my dad's work [car dealership] so I could ride with him to his house. We got there around 5:40pm & I got to know the girls a little better & where everything was, phone numbers & all that.

After they left, we played alot of games. First we played 'teacher', 'monster', Twister, Ker-Plunk, & then Nicole-says-it's-9:00pm-so-that-means-it's-bedtime! lol All three wanted to sleep 'in Mommy's room', so I tucked them in & laid down with them like they wanted. Then Lydia sits up & says 'Nicole, all of our other babysitters read us a story before we got to sleep'. So I got a book & read it to them. By this time it was almost 10pm. I got them to play the quiet game & the sleeping game: whoever stays quiet the longest/whoever goes to sleep first wins! lol My mom used to pull that on me when I was little, so I did it on a whim, hoping it would work the same way! And I was right! So, at 10:15pm, when all 3 little girls were sleeping, I slowly got off of the bed & went to watch TV in the living room.

I sat on the floor & watched Disney channel. lol But, their cat was sitting by the TV feverishly licking its fur, wheezing & snarling at me. So I cautiously went & sat on the couch...lol There's something about odd cats that they just always find me! heehee The only normal cat I can think of is April's cat, Hollywood. Such a cute cat!

Well, Mr. Randy got back at 11:35pm, paid me, told me he needed me for the days that April wouldn't be able to do it, then I left.

When we got home I was sooooo tired! That's it for today!
